The 2025 Buick Enclave has finally arrived, and it boasts a total redesign to mark a new era! When Buick announced that the new Enclave would come in a new package, we knew it would be a breath of fresh air. It had to be because, frankly, an Enclave redesign was long overdue since the last major revamp on the 2018 model.
The new 2025 model marks the start of the third-gen Enclaves, featuring notable restyling elements inspired by the Buick Wildcat Concept EV from 2022. We love the raked rear roofline, the redesigned grille, and the front fascia that give the flagship model a whole new face altogether. However, the 2025 Enclave upgrade is not just about looks; it packs a daring 2.5L I-4 engine and a handful of innovative tech features that give the 2024 Escalade and Audi SQ7 tough competition. Overall, the new Enclave is bigger, roomier, and better, with hints of more exciting things to expect from Buick. Read on to learn more about Buick’s latest addition.
A New Premium Look
The new Enclave looks nicer than any Enclave model we’ve seen. While older models have featured few changes over the years, this new-gen model tops the lineup with a premium overhaul. The front fascia features expressive accent lights and stunning LED running daytime lights. You also cannot miss the sharp contours that give the Enclave a luxurious profile.
Upgraded for 2025, the Buick logo sits on the hood, close to the wide, low-mounted trapezoidal grille (the first of its kind on an Enclave). And there are 20 to 22-inch alloy wheels with gloss-black or Pearl Nickel finish, depending on the trim. Out back, you will find similar slim running daytime lights, a hands-free liftgate, and a strip that completes the car’s modern aesthetic. With 208 inches of total length and a wheelbase of 120.9 inches, the Enclave is a family-size SUV through and through. It is bigger, taller, and wider than most mid-size three-row SUVs.

A Powerhouse on the Road
As the third-generation flagbearer, the 2025 Enclave had to get it right under the hood, and it did just that! In contrast to the previous 310hp V6 engine, the latest model boasts a 2.5L I-4 engine powerful enough to pump up to 328 hp and 266 lb-ft torque. That’s about the same output you get on some V8s! This puts the Buick among the standout performers in the three-row SUV category, especially considering that many similarly priced rivals, including the Volvo XC90 and Lexus TX, fall short by a mile.
The Enclave drives on an improved version of the C1 platform present on the 2024 model and is available in FWD and an optional AWD, making it one of the most versatile Buick products to hit the roads. Off the pavement, the Enclave holds lots of promise, but going by the capability of previous models, don’t expect the 2025 model to maul rough surfaces like the Jeep Wrangler, for example. Family vacays and camping trips are just about enough. Buick also says the SUV has a towing capacity of 5000 lbs. That’s more than enough for basic hauling but a little short of the 2024 Kia Telluride (5500 lbs), which is smaller and doesn’t cost as much. To top it off, the Enclave has an 8-speed automatic transmission for commendable responsiveness and control.
2025 Enclave Interior: Away with the Old, In with the New
For the new Enclave, it’s no more the bland interior common with second-generation models. All trims have a sophisticated cabin design, luxurious leatherette seats, and ambient light available in different colors to complete the cozy feel inside. Buick restyled the dashboard with a 30-inch diagonal display (the largest in the segment) and a flat-bottom steering wheel with three spokes. The center console houses a phone tray for wireless charging and a divided cupholder section so you don’t mix up the beverages.
Other standout interior features include a panoramic roof and a 12 to 16-speaker Bose Audio System. Power-folding second and third-row seats are standard on all trims, while the Avenir trim gets power heating and ventilation on the first two rows. The extra dimensions on the SUV mean it comfortably seats seven adults and does not lack leg room (41.4 inches) and shoulder room (62 inches) at the back. Plus, 97.5 cu ft of total cargo space brings the newest Buick closer to the list of family-sized SUVs renowned for their storage capacity for 2024.
Connectivity and Driver-Assist Features
The 2025 Enclave is the first Buick with GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driving, a feature available on all trims for a subscription. Other driver-assist features include the standard lane-assist, a QuietTuning technology that blocks out road noise, automatic emergency braking and up to 9 surround-view cameras. What’s more, the infotainment system on the newest Buick is compatible with Google and provides hands-free access to Google Maps, Voice Assistant, and in-vehicle apps supported by Google Play.

Pricing and Trims
Buick changed the trim labels for the 2025 Enclave — Preferred, Sport Touring, and Avenir. The most significant differences in trim levels are in the styling. ST spots accent lights, while the Avenir trim gets the most upgrades with a lush black and white interior and heated seats. Barring these, all trims offer the same quality of ride and engine output. The new family cruiser starts at $48,400 (Preferred AWD variant) and peaks at about $61,400, depending on your location.
Is the 2025 Enclave worth the price? By all means, yes! The new model sneaks into the luxury three-row SUV category without the actual cost of a luxury SUV. It will likely get some heat, especially from the 2024 Lexus GX, which is similarly priced and boasts better off-road capacity. Notwithstanding, there’s no stopping the new Buick because it packs the right style and power combo to be a popular choice. If you ask us, the ST trim offers the right combination of luxury and versatility, but for buyers looking for top features, the Avenir trim is too cool to ignore!
