The GWM TANK 700 brings full-size luxury and serious off-road capability to Ghana in a bold, distinctive package. Its broad upright grille, geometric LED lighting and muscular proportions give the flagship SUV unmistakable road presence.
Power comes from a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 and dual electric motors, forming GWM’s Hi4-T plug-in hybrid four-wheel-drive system. Together they produce 523 hp and 850 Nm of torque, working with a 9-speed automatic transmission and a 37 kWh lithium-ion battery. Petrol power and an 85 L fuel tank add flexibility when charging is less convenient, while multiple drive modes and three differential locks provide added traction. Height-adjustable air suspension varies ground clearance from 239 mm to 282 mm, and 22-inch alloy wheels reinforce its substantial stance.
Inside, it combines generous space with intuitive technology. A 15.7” central touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto anchors the dashboard, while heated, ventilated and massaging seats, rear climate controls and the Star-Lake panoramic roof add to the premium cabin. The five-seat layout provides 400 L of boot space, expanding to 2,070 L with the rear seats folded.
Driver-assistance features include a high-definition rear camera and front and rear parking sensors to make manoeuvring easier, while rear cross-traffic alert warns of approaching vehicles or pedestrians when reversing.
