The Volkswagen Tayron brings generous space and versatility to Lithuania’s SUV market, combining distinctive styling, premium features and room for up to seven passengers. Positioned between the Tiguan and Touareg, it offers the proportions and presence of a larger SUV with the comfort and practicality of a family vehicle.
That versatility extends to petrol, diesel, mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains, with the eHybrid standing out for its ability to handle everyday journeys without using petrol. Pairing a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with an electric motor and DSG automatic transmission, the eHybrid produces either 204 PS or 272 PS. With up to 120 km of electric driving range, it can even travel from Vilnius to Molėtai and back on electric power alone. On longer journeys, the petrol engine takes over when needed, allowing travel to continue without stopping to recharge. Selected petrol and diesel versions also offer 4MOTION all-wheel drive, with suitably equipped models capable of towing up to 2,500 kg.

Inside, sliding and reclining second-row seats provide flexibility for passengers and luggage. Selected petrol and diesel versions accommodate up to seven occupants, while the five-seat eHybrid offers 705 litres of luggage space. A 12.9” infotainment display and Digital Cockpit Pro are complemented by an available 15” display and head-up display. Optional ergoActive massage seats, a panoramic sunroof, Harman Kardon sound system and adjustable ambient lighting add comfort and a more upscale feel to the cabin.
The Tayron earned a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating in 2025, supported by an extensive range of driver assistance technologies. Its Exit Warning system alerts occupants to approaching cyclists and other road users before opening the doors, including those in the rear seats. Front Assist emergency braking, Lane Assist and Side Assist help drivers navigate everyday traffic, while available Travel Assist and Park Assist Pro provide additional assistance on longer journeys and in tight parking spaces.
In Vilnius, the Tayron is available at Møller Auto Savanoriai, an authorized Volkswagen dealership at Vaduvos g. 3. Opened in 2014 as the group’s largest showroom in the capital, the dealership is part of Norway’s Møller Group, with decades of automotive experience and an established presence across the Baltics. Alongside new-vehicle sales and financing, Savanoriai provides genuine parts, hybrid servicing and dedicated body repair and paint facilities, supported by the brand’s authorized service network across Lithuania.

The dealership also makes ongoing vehicle care more convenient through digital services and practical customer support.
